Company History
Vanguard Lease Company has been serving the needs of North Texas drivers since 1976. We are a family owned operation and can provide you with custom lease and purchase programs for any year, make, model and style of car.
Vanguard’s customers are ‘Customers for Life’ and we pride ourselves on the ‘White Glove Service’ that our customers have come to know. We enjoy being your automotive advocate throughout the life of your car. Be it routine service, paintless dent repair or even insurance claims, Vanguard can handle it all.
Our automotive roots go back more than 50 years to Skiles Oldsmobile which was purchased by C.R. Rogers in Abilene, Texas in 1957.
C.R. owned and operated that dealership and Parkway Pontiac in Dallas until 1978. He began leasing vehicles in the late 1950’s and his son Rob literally grew up in C.R.’s dealerships.
After graduating from Texas Tech University, Rob worked his way up in the family business serving in several management positions and finally becoming the dealership’s Fleet and Leasing Manager.
As C.R. began to approach retirement, Rob opened Vanguard Lease Company of Dallas on May 1, 1978 at the location the company occupies today.
Vanguard gets 100% of its customers from referrals and repeat business. With no advertising expense, Vanguard is able to keep its overhead and pass the savings along to you. Further, during our 50+ years in the North Texas automotive business, we have long standing relationships with Fleet Dealers who provide us with discount pricing on virtually every year, make, model and style of vehicle you may be interested in.
